THIS IS MODERN BUDDHISM

The practice of timeless Buddhist wisdom in the heart of Karlsruhe

Buddha’s most profound insight into the nature of the mind remains as revolutionary in our modern world as it was 2500 years ago: the mind is the source of all happiness and suffering. All of it.

At Menlha Center, this is what we learn – in a very practical way. So that through meditation, we can cultivate authentic happiness, and actualize our greatest potential, and help others do the same.

…and we do it all right here im Menlha Center, thanks to the extraordinary teachings of our founder, Buddhist meditation master, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Everyone is welcome! We do not discriminate based on race, gender, background, age, religion, politics, sexual orientation, or otherwise — everyone is always welcome at Menlha Center and other Kadampa Centers around the world.

Developing positiv energy – meditations on gratitude

Sa.,  December 2 | 10 am to 1pm

25 Euro oder member card

Buddha taught that no matter how our lives turn out, we can always discover many reasons to be grateful. We can either focus on these and thereby develop happy feelings and positive energy, or on all the things that go wrong or have gone wrong and entangle us in feelings of discouragement, sadness, frustration, resentment, etc. In this course Gen Gogden will explain different methods how we can develop the courage and learn the art of focusing on the positive and good in our lives and thereby gain fresh, positive energy for ourselves.
